SŌTEN is a luxury Japanese yakiniku restaurant in Jakarta that grills A5 wagyu over charcoal. The site is its company profile: a cinematic home page, the menu, the interior and a way to reserve, all editable by the restaurant through a CMS.

What I did

  • One Laravel app: the public site and the CMS behind it, so there is a single codebase to run and update.
  • A CMS for the restaurant team: menus, photos and copy change without calling a developer.
  • Media-heavy pages: a full-screen video hero, Swiper galleries and photo grids, laid out for phones first.
  • DevOps: server, deployment and domain set up and kept running.
